Unlock DME?

Anyone know any good tuners in California (Northern) who would be able to unlock an 2017 F15 DME? Unable to flash

2017 was before the DME lock but I'm assuming you or previous owner had a recent software update at the dealership?

Well when i hook up with MHD the warning comes on saying its locked. And It was n the dealer last year. Im pretty sure it was updated cause they took forever to reprogram the ecm agter they replaced a headlight assembly

That sucks dude! Sorry I don't have much info on unlocking the DME. Best of luck!

You need to either remove the DME yourself and ship it to someone who can bench unlock or drive your car to a tuning shop that will remove DME and do the unlock. Some places might be able to unlock the dme right on the car as the pins are accessible from the engine bay, just very tight to get to and obviously your vehicle must be physically present to do this.

I had the same thing happen to me when I tried to flash BM3. Ended up just going RaceChip for now until I can find a shop that'll bench unlock on site. Oh well.
