Air Suspension releasing air after parking
Hi all
Been searching to around to see if this is normal function, but can't find anything atm. About 99% of the time, after I park my car and turn off the engine, I notice hissing coming from under the car, and I'm pretty sure the rear lowers a tiny bit. Not sure if this is normal. Is the air suspension constantly pumping/releasing air while we are driving ? Cheers guys in advanced.

Correction
The release of air sounds like its on purposes. I hear the hiss, and then a valve closing, like a click...don't believe it's a leak at all. Sounds like it's coming from the compressor ? Release valve ? |

The air suspension will kick in and adjust on its own every time you unlock (potentially start the car) and lock (idle) the car, mine does that too. The system does its thing to adjust the suspension based on the current scenario.
If it's a leak in the compressor connectors under the car, your air suspension probably won't be able to push back up to normal again (it happened to mine) If it's a leak on the air suspension unit, the his wouldn't be coming from the bottom of the car, it'll be around the air bag.

No hissing coming from bags, and the rears don't sag at all over night or over a few days night driving (I understand this isn't 100% full proof, just mentioning) Thanks guys for the input guys - if anybody else has any input - please feel free

Mine does this and has done this for the whole time I've owned it (close to 10 yrs). I believe it to be releasing some air to ensure the air bags are not overly pressurised when it's not needed.
