Some UPDATE!
Speak with transfer case specialist and he confirmed me the difference more 1% is problem for the transfer case. Have a two types transfer cases BUT ///M and regular F15/F16 is same-different years is different types. About clutch discs have a little difference but major they are same! They not broke fast but after 30/40k kilometers they slipped and after that broken. If use 285/30/22 on 10.5J wheel-tire will stretch and received it little difference between front and rear 335/25/22 like 295/30/22. I hope this answer to these questions… |

Hamann has 2 different flares: Up to 22" and up to 23" wheels, do you know what set you running? Do you have the part number? Great looking X5! |

Because not all tiers/brand are the same. Some brands/product lines are made to more strict tolerance, whilst others is more of a vague guideline. So whilst on paper the size is +/-1.4%, in reality they could be something entirely different.

i would also venture to say (just my opinion) that lots of folks are running lower tier 22" tires and perhaps there's less accuracy in advertised there.

I have an X6M that I have been tweaking a bit since I bought it and have used a set of alloys from my previous vehicle to achieve a square setup. I now run a 22x10,5 ET38 front and back, with 295/30-22 tires. Has to be said that I also installed fender flares to give it a more aggressive stance, so I have used spacers front and back to bring the rims out somewhat.
Works great |

hey, do you think 22" with 10.5 ET 34 and 12 ET32 will rub much with 295/30 and 335/25 tires?
