X5 F15 Brake upgrade

Hi, really hope someone can help me. I'm looking to upgrade the brakes on my F15 30D to (front) 6 pot M Performance Brakes and matching brakes for the rear. It's a jump in size for the Brake Disks. The vendor tells me I would just use the stock Brake Disk Backing Plates which are already fitted to my car. My question is - were the Back Plates all the same size? I'd be increasing the Disk size from 332mm to 395mm Front and 320mm to 385mm Rear. Many Thanks

I'm 99% sure the backing/dust shields are larger for the larger rotors. You could confirm this by looking up the PN on RealOEM. Do you mean X5M front calipers (6pot) or the M performance calipers (4pot)?

If you buy the MPBK, it comes with everything you need to upgrade to larger front calipers (4pot) and f/r rotors. Search up on the forum. There's lots of info posted on upgrading to either the MPBK or X5M brakes and the parts you need.

Hi, I was looking at the M Performance Kit, it would keep things kind of standard in a way because it was an option for my vehicle and still listed as a retrofit package on Real OEM. But I've also seen (on EBAY) a full BREMBO Kit for F85/F86 (395mm/385mm Disks)with 6 pot callipers up front, minus the dust shields. I guess these would fit my F15 30D? Thanks
