F15 coolant flush help!!
Want to flush coolant on a 2016 BMW X5 50i. Looked for videos but nothing very clear. If anyone has performed coolant flush then please share the location for drain plug. I checked Fritz Ramos video which recommends draining on N55 engines from auxiliary radiator side. Would that work on N63 in your experience ? Also I don’t think I require a compressor to fill the coolant back in. I plan to drain, flush with distilled water, then refill with 50/50 coolant and follow the bleed procedure to let the air out. Thoughts ?

Pop off a lower radiator hose?
Personally I'd wait to change coolant, until something on the coolant side fails and needs replacing. Knowing bmw, is bound to happen at some point. �� |
