agree with you OP. take it to the dealer and have them look at it. if oil is leaking enough to show on the floor then it's a decent leak and should be addressed asap

If you're seeing the oil on the ground, get it seen about ASAP. When mine was leaking, I never had oil on the ground but I was topping up at least a quart or two in between oil changes. Your low oil warning will be imminent.
