I didn't get my ACS unit yet but should be in about 2 weeks. It was already on the way when i called about it. Alan

Thats just a pic i used for reference. The one I am getting will look little different for the 35i.
BTW i'm 99.9% sure that the ACS exhaust is made by Supersprint which is a very good thing

That sounds more like a V8, doesn't sound like an L6 at all.

Is that AC Schnitzer on the standard 35i engine or is that on 50i?
Does the AC Snitzer affect the overall warranty on the car? Also, how much was the Msport with MPPK Tune? Does that come with the performance M exhaust or do you have to order that seperately? |

I actually prefer the quad tips by Supersprint, I am not sure if they make the system for 35i though.

Really? I think the supersprint quads aren't beefy/big enough for the X5. The only quads I like at the GtHaus ones but their price is ridiculous imo and crazy long wait times.

Picked up the X5 today and I simply love it. Rides better than my 550 in comfort mode (adaptive M) and yet it handles better in sport mode. Feels nice and tight where as my 550 felt very floaty stock.
The MPPK is a dream. I am very familiar with what sport mode changes on the F chassis cars and the MPPK just takes it to a higher level in addition to the power bump. The shift points with the ZF 8spd gear box holds rpm even higher than normal with the MPPK installed so the car is always in the right gear/powerband when you need it. It makes the X5 feel very responsive which sorts makes up for the lower HP than my 550. That's it for now. I want to go out and play with all the setting now! Alan |

So far the only thing I would change would be to leave out the soft close doors and swap it with the front camera instead. Unlike my F10 where the SCD came in handy a lot the doors on the X5 seem to close pretty effortlessly already. Otherwise I am very happy with the truck. I don't miss the 550 one bit to be honest. With only 9500 miles on it the engine would shake during cold starts and throw a CEL randomly. There was no way I was going to consider keeping that V8 as much fun as it was....

Confirmed. The first thing i noticed when i hopped in for the first time is that the shifter makes a audible sound and you can feel it click. Considering how many people have this i guess this is normal behavior. It does seem less and less noticeable throughout the day though compare to the first initial shift.

Is this normal behavior.... I was driving in traffic and I came close to the car infront of me and the guy behind me was also close to my bumper. The PDC sensors turned on automatically on the I drive screen. My 550 never did this. No driver assistance plus package BTW.
