I also experienced my first issue with F15 yesterday. I've noticed that my adaptive LED lights don't follow the road when I turn my steering wheel left. All seems to work fine when I turn right. I will have that checked in the next few days.
EDIT: Apparently that's normal behaviour so that we don't blind incoming cars when trying to turn left at the cross roads... Last edited by Paddy_Lux; 08-10-2015 at 01:33 PM.. |

Does anyone have iDrive knob issues? Sometimes it tightens up as I'm scrolling through items in the navi so badly it's ridiculous

Has anyone had issues with the little (coin holder?) tray under the headlight switch? The latch on mine has broken for a second time. I may use it more than others - I've got an old garage door opener that doesn't work with the integrated one, and I keep it there...

Hello.
From my experience with three cars purchased by BMW (X6 40d, 750Li and X5 M50d) I can say with hand on heart that the money that is given to these cars have too many problems of any type and for me personally this brand is exposed lately. But the biggest problem that they do not have people with the necessary skills to deal with your car and from there come many problems! I personally more car with the mark would not have bought! Problems with the X6 not to mention smaller problems: 1. Suspension (eliminated) 2. Steering (eliminated) 3. Rear airbags (Eliminate) Problems 750Li not to mention smaller problems: 1. Defective electrons modules (Eliminate) 2. Problem with the engine (Remove the shift with a new engine) Problems with X5 not to mention smaller problems: 1. Faulty m perfomans parts (Eliminate) 2. Defective DSC module (Eliminate) 3. Broken led adaptive lights (in the process of removal) Last edited by teodorjelev; 10-09-2015 at 04:07 AM.. |

RSE Remote
I have a 2014 F15 with the Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) system. I had to obtain a new remote control, but can't get the system to recognize it.
Any ideas? |

Today, there was this whine going on above 2k rpm. It went away at night though. The weather was in the low 100s here so does it have to do with that?

Just a few minor issues a week after pickup. Driver's side mirror doesn't fold in all the time and one of the pins in my USB port is bent. Hope to get them fixed soon.

Seat belt for 3rd-row seat (2015 X5 50i)
One of the seat belts in the 3rd row wasn't installed correctly (a surprising QC lapse, given that it is safety-related).
The seat belt was bolted where it should be, but it was then inexplicably run behind a side panel next to the seat cushion (going up to the cargo area floor, which is higher). As a result, the seat belt wouldn't fit snugly across my kid's lap (it began at torso level on that one side). To fix it, I removed the panel. (The seat belt is a bit mangled, but I can live with it.) Everything else has been running well... 5 months now. |

I just got my 2016 35i X5 2 weeks ago, and I noticed that the driver's ventilated seat starts at level three, but goes down by itself to level two after ten mins. Is this normal?
