Rear fogs/euroswitch ftw. Was one of the first mods I did to my car thanks to my VW modding days.

i use mine almost every morning headed into work. it's foggy where i live. once i hit the city i turn them off. they're annoying to stare at if it's clear out.

anyone have rear fog coded along with brake force display (flashing brake lights under hard braking)
I read somewhere for our north american tail lights we can have coded either feature but not both at the same time as the brake force display flashes the rear fogs. |

While I agree that rear fogs should be used on an as needed basis , I’d argue that drivers who can’t tell the difference between a rear fog and a brake light need more driver training.

I just got my switch the other day, can you tell me how you replaced the US one? I’m unsure of what needs to get pulled and where to slide a trim tool piece in to get the appropriate pieces off to get access to the light switch. Also for anyone still looking I got mine on eBay for 40 euro…plus 43 euro for shipping lol. I think the demand for these is going down though and the price is kind of reflecting that but they are also not as abundant as I’m sure they once were. It wasn’t difficult to find it and I even found a brand new one for $300.
