Rear brake caliper

Is the rear brake caliper the same with all models? 35i, 50i, and X5M? I know the mounting bracket is different for rotor size … but the single piston caliper looks identical ….

I just did a 50i caliper upgrade on my 35i. Bought them used from eBay. The 35i calipers were stamped 44/20, while the 50i calipers were stamped 44/24. I didn't measure them, but I'm assuming the 50i (and M) calipers are slightly taller/thicker/whatever to accommodate the thicker 24mm rotor. However, they both share a 44mm piston.

So my 35i calipers won’t fit with M bracket ? Or will?
I’m
Trying to use my stock “44/20” rear calipers but change the bracket that came with the f85 set.
I don’t want to spend money and rebuild the f85 42/24 calipers….
Plan to go 4 pot in future …

So I would like to say, you were all wrong. I have car apart and guess what. Bracket doesn’t fit ….
Sliders won’t go in … they are slightly wider …

The sliders are farther apart on x5M vs 35i…
The caliper is also wider on X5M
