Can someone help me please im trying to code my fog lights to turn on with my welcome light on my 2015 f15 and this is the code i found for it

3063 MAPPING_NEBELSCHW_L_PART_OF_WL set to: werte=01

on my ecu the line only reads

MAPPING_NEBELSCHW_L_PART_OF

then when you go into it its either off 00 , or FLB_UEA 03 changing to the 03 option seems to do nothing and adding 01 manualy also does nothing

does anyone know if theres some other code line to change to make it work or is it becaue i have the led fog lights with bi xenons and adptive lighting that i cant make them work? any help would be appreciated thank you

Go to:

Tailgate Function Module -> 3011 APPL_PLG_SPEED_PROFILE

Change the values to '00A0' in the following 4 sections.

After I did this my trunk does not slam anymore. It took a few hours of scouring to piece together the info.

Tried the above yesterday as my dealer performed a free(recall) software update recently on my 2018 F15, which made my hatch noisy again and the final result has reduced my slam once again.
However the steps I had to go thru in BimmerLink were somewhat different than the four lines above, unfortunately I didn’t document the steps I had to go thru but one of the lines didn’t have the option of 00A00 and during the final coding there was another line that popped up, which I selected the 00A00 for which allowed me to complete the coding process.

Just a heads up for anyone going thru the same struggle as I……

You've heard conflicting stuff cuz it depends. Most error codes will reset by just shutting the car down for awhile. Some may not which require to be cleared. BimmerLink isn't the only option just the easiest. But as you said since you don't have apple products then not sure if the question cuz you can't download it anyway lol. Use esys or ISTA.

Check you VIN, if your head unit is compatible you need set of FSC codes to enable Apple CarPlay. No Android auto.
