I picked up 2018 X5 50i at ~42k miles last week (actually it's 2 weeks now)

I have been shopping around to get extended warranty. Dealer quoted me $4400 for 37 months/37k additional miles (exclusionary coverage).

Endurance was highest so far .. over $5500 for 48 months/48 additional miles.

American Dream Auto Protect https://americandreamautoprotect.com/99-3/ offers to match dealer price for additional 20K miles coverage.

So far the best quote I got was from Route66 via Credit Union - but unfortunately Route66 doesn't cover X5 in their Exclusionary plan (easy steet).

Next best quote was from another credit union using MemberCare plan.

Wondering if the folks here have any feedback on these service providers? I am inclined to go with membercare but their reviews are all over the place from few best to a lot worst.
Did you end up picking one of these? I’ve got a relatively high mileage X5 50i (83K miles) and would like to hold onto it for another 5ish years. But would love some piece of mind

If you can’t repair it yourself and you don’t have a warrantee there won’t be any peace.

Yes, I did get an extended warranty but didn't pick from the companies I mentioned prior. Instead I went with Fidelity (exclusionary coverage) 5years/60K additional miles plan.

I was thinking of getting membercare from credit union but didn't get enough feedback on this company. Fidelity is highly regarded @RENNIST (porsche forum) hence went with it.

In case anyone is interested - MemberCare is owned by APCO Holdings, which also owns EasyCare. I found this out recently.

I used Trenton (tgibson@highline-autos.com). He gave me best price.

You can also use this another guy. They have online tool https://steingoldvolvocars.factoryprotect.com/, good price but for my case Trenton was better by a bit - not by a lot though.
