All season tires for 2015 X5 M Sport with 20" OEM wheels: recommendations?

Currently, the vehicle has OEM Pirelli P Zero summer performance run flat tires.

Considering all season tires (either RFT or "go flat") for occasional trips to Big Bear and Mammoth. Hopefully, all season tires will be sufficient.

All recommendations appreciated.

if you plan to make snow trips, i'd go for the michelin pilot sport all seasons.

If you don't want to put chains on get VREDESTEIN Quatrac Pro, multiple forum members (including myself) got them and these are amazing. Drove over Donner Summit on I80, took multiple trips to Nevada on 395 North, never had issues, solid handling in the snow and ice and they got snow peak logo so you don't need chains even there is R2 chain control requirements in place.

Yep, these will be the next ones I try. Looks like I finally have a good Conti DWS replacement.

The roads near me are very coarse and loud.

I’m looking for a really quiet tire.

How do you rate these tires for comfort and quietness?

There are less than encouraging reviews on TireRack about VREDESTEIN QUATRAC PRO
tires.

What has been your experience?

I’ve had them for about 5k miles only, and so far, they’ve been low on road noise and comfortable.

You can also go with Continental DWS06+ and Michelin AS4s.

Mine has been great so far. I run it both on my F85 as well as Tesla Model 3 perf. No complaints so far (about 5k in the F85 and 10k miles in the Tesla).

I got about 25K miles on them so far, and 0 issues. I sort of expect them to have shorter life (probably got about 1/4 of the original thread left) because the rubber is slightly softer for that snow logo and better ice/snow traction but I feel like this is a fair trade. Balanced perfectly from day one, not too loud, very comfortable ride, great handling in all conditions. I had DWS06 on my previous car which were pretty decent too but once you were half way through the thread they would get sooo loud. I've seen few negative reviews on tirerack but if you look on the bigger picture and average score they are still quite well rated against similar performance category tires. I personally would buy these again.

Same. This is why I am shopping for alternatives.

I just put a set of Michelin AS/4+ on my '15 50i and they're great. I've run them on my last 3 BMWs and they're a really good all-season option. Plus they look very nice as well

We have the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 on my wife's F25 X3, I will be putting same on the F15d once I burn through the Dunlop runflats...

Very happy with them.

I’ve run Conti DWS06 + and their variations on 4 cars now. Can’t go wrong for the price imo.

I am on my 2nd set of Conti DWS06 and cant complain. I have done many out of state trips in snow w/o any issues. Since i have 20" the life of the tires arent great around 20k but worth piece of mind.
