i know nothing about the 650i wheels. i doubt others in this section do either. if you post up the wheel specs, offsets and center bore we can confirm figment. just because they share the same BP doesn't mean they'll fit.

These e63/e64 wheels won't fit on your F15's wheel hub. (who told you they would?)

The 6 series has a 72.56mm wheel hub (center bore on the wheels)...and the f15 X5 has a 74.1mm wheel hub (center bore on the wheels).

You would have to bore out the center of the wheels in order for them to fit your f15 X5. I was going to suggest another option of buying a thin wheel spacer that goes from a 72.56mm bore to a 74.1mm bore...but the wheel offsets of the e63/e64 wheels are to low...and will already push the wheels out closer to the fender. If you installed wheel spacer, too...they would probably push the wheels out past your fenders.

To get an idea of how much closer your wheels would be toward the fender...use a site like www.willtheyfit.com and compare your original wheel/tire on the front axle to the new wheel/tire specs on the front...then do the same for the rear (comparing the original to what you are trying to install). Again, the site linked above will reveal the distance inward toward the suspension of the new setup vs the original...or distance outward toward the fender.

But again, these wheels are not going to fit on the hub of your X5 without you boring out the center to 74.1mm.

Below is the last BMW wheel chart I used to keep...I stopped in 2017 when the G chassis came out with not only another hub size (66.6mm)...but the wheel bolt pattern changed from 5x120mm to 5x112mm. It no longer was worth keeping up with the chart to see which other BMW wheels might be compatible.

I’d think those wheels have a bore size of 72.5mm, not the 74.1 of the X5/X6

You could probably have them bored out of you really love those wheels, though

so the bolt pattern is fine, but the hub/offset is wrong

pretty sad about this - dont want to mess with spacers, etc.

Thank you for this group!!!!!!

Perhaps you can find some used e70 wheels or f15/f16 wheels from an owners that has plus sized. Do take note (using the chart above) that the e70 X5M and e71 X6 has some special split/axle sizing that is different (not compatible as plug-n-play)...so watch out for those wheel styles when buying used or new replacements.

so much to know - thanks!

im used to just looking at the tire size on the sidewall and just using really any steel rim not used to a nice vehicle.

Agreed with Qsilver7. Just get some e70 units. Strong, plentiful and cheap as chips for beater winter stuff.

What does everyone think of these? Thinking going 18 inches and a larger tire to fill the wheel well.

Wheels look like 612 knock offs, so they will look good. Who knows about the quality. I'll let smarter people chime in on this, but be careful with the diameter of the new tires. It need to be close to stock tire size or the xDrive will have issues.

If 18’s clear the 50i brakes should work…235 is pretty narrow, though
