Silver Neomax Coilovers or Eibach springs?
Hi guys,
Been searching the forum but not much info on the Silver Neomax Coilovers. Im looking to lower my x6 (standard suspension) on either Eibach springs w/ b6s front and rear. Or get the Silver Neomax Coilovers with Swift springs 14k front and 16k rear. My goal is to achieve being low and still have good ride comfort. From what I read, the Eibach are great for comfort, but only provide an 1" drop. The Silver Neomax Coilovers from one thread here has been good reviews, especially compared to the BC Racing Coils, which ive heard only negative reviews in terms of comfort. Looking for any feedback from anyone that is running Silver Neomax Coilovers in terms of comfort. I am wondering if they will be more jarring than just running the Eibachs with b6s. I live in LA and have a kid, so would like to be comfy but still low with steez. V3 are out of budget. Thanks for feedback Last edited by vin3; 08-31-2023 at 02:49 PM.. Reason: typo |

I’m running Eibach and B6’s on my 2016 50i. It’s much better than stock, but it definitely would look better a bit lower. Honestly if I were you I’d save up and wait until you could get KW V3 setup if you want to go lower than Eibach does.
Both pics are with the Eibach springs |

you mentioned that your goal is to "achieve being low." That will only be accomplished with a coilover or HAS so you can dial in the height. The eibach springs will not get you lower, rather "lower" than stock. if you want to go low, don't waste your $$ or time on anything other than the KW V3s.

I guess my stock front springs had already sagged. The Eibachs springs were noticeable shorter than stock, but thicker gauge steel. Oh well, a waste of time and money. I'm not shelling out for coilovers.

Hers my current set up:
295/30/22 front (10.5) 335/25/22 rear (12) It looks like a dune buggy right now haha. Im considering going with the H&R springs route instead of Eibach, since it'll give me more of a drop. Hows the ride difference between Ebiach and H&R? I hear the H&R do not ride well, but have not heard to much feedback from x6 owners |

Ya saving up for the KW is the best bet. Have you ran H&R springs? Considering this options over the Eibach |

The stance looks so good! Hows the ride quality on uneven roads compared to stock? Also, did it improve handling?

If you do some searching on this forum you'll find quite a few threads regarding H&R, ACS, Eibach, etc. springs.
The common theme/feedback with H&R is the ride sucks. They will get you lower than Eibach, but with a compromised ride quality. So unless you want to live with that, it sounds like coilovers might be in your future since you want to go low. Last edited by jiggz; 09-04-2023 at 01:43 PM.. |

From what i've read and after speaking to a popular forum vendor, the H&R springs leave a lot to be desired. An X6 will ride like an X5. Same suspensions. Here's mine on Dinans. 50i here!

I have the H&Rs on Bilsteins. Ride is good, handling is great. My other car is low and on coilovers, to put my concept of comfort in perspective.
Does anyone have the spring rates of the various options to compare? Best side shot I have of the H&Rs: |
