2015 BMW X5 50i N63 check engine light help
Hello, recently acquired a 2015 x5 with a n63 engine. plugged in a foxwell nt710 scanner to diagnose the cel and came out with codes for misfires in cylinder 1,2,4,5,6,7,8. upon start, the drivetrain malfunction warning appears on the screen and a check engine light appears. when in idle, there isn't much noise from the engine but a knocking sound and vibration occurs when giving some acceleration. i'll attach the vehicle diagnostics report for more details.
another x5 owner suggested the origin of these issues could be from a malfunctioning fuel pump or one of the turbos has gone bad. I will be taking the car to a bmw mechanic shop to get a diagnosis but some thoughts from the members here would be appreciated. |

If all cylinders are showing misfires, then it could be the hpfp, those are known to go bad on occasion. Check fuel injectors too, they should be under extended warranty from BMW for a 2015 50i

Most likely HPFP if the fuel rail pressure is low and multiple misfires. I had similar codes recently, and used Maverick's DIY + Bosch HPFPs from FCPEuro.
