F15 vs. F85 Front Brake Line Length

Does anyone that has done the F85 swap on their F15 have a brake line comparison picture? OR the lengths they can reference?

I got Goodridge lines but the front lines are too short. They're the same part number on their website for the F15 and F85 so I contacted them and they're telling me they're the same length according to the specs in TecDoc.

Luckily the F85 calipers I got came with the stock front lines so I was able to complete the swap, but now I need to get a side by side comparison to show them they're wrong and don't want to remove and rebleed just to take a picture. I sent them this picture of their line next to the F85 line but it wasn't good enough.

Check on realoem.com if the P/N for F15 and F85 are the same.

I did and know they're different. Shared that info with Goodridge too. What I'm looking for is verification of the length difference. But I'll just do it myself when I get a second since I have both parts.

For the next guy, here's the Goodridge F15/F85 line, stock F15 line, and stock F85 line (top to bottom).

this makes sense. the f85 caliper line inlet is closer to the middle of the calipers vs the f15 and mpbk caliper inlet line being offset toward the bottom .

I installed Goodridge brake lines with the Mpbk brake set in my F15 2 years ago and everything fit. The difference is apparently in the caliper from the F85 model and the location of the brake lines.

Update: After sending side by side comparisons and measurements, Goodridge is making an F85 specific front line now!

Hi Ryan,

I have specified a replacement pair of front brake lines that are manufactured to the new longer length under warranty for you. These replacement brake lines should be manufactured and sent to you this week. I will forward you the tracking number once I have it.

Thank you for your patience while we resolved this for you

We have now setup a new part number for these vehicles that use the longer lines on the front SBW1212-6

Regards
Stuart
