Why BMW makes/why people buy the X6 is beyond me.

Specs are impressive, but exterior design is too busy. The wheel arches appear to have been drastically reduced, and the rear on both looks far more tame.

I'm not digging the direction BMW is taking their design, but I love where they're taking the engineering and performance.

The large beam across the center of the front bumper on the new x5/x6 looks odd. Everything else looks great, especially the new x6.

Like the interior a lot. Not a fan of the exterior, but an improvement over the "regular" versions.

For some reason, I like the new X5M but like the older X6M.

The new interiors are amazing.

The new X6's rear bumper looks like it's cut off from the side. Looks like it has no-ass haha

Looks busy now but it'll age better than an overly simple design. That's why Audi's look old after 2 years; nothing interesting about the design, just too clean and simple (in my opinion).

Improvement or not, BMW knows how to make the previous generation look old.

They sell very well unfortunately, which is why they make them, and they only offer 2 wagons here in the US, so options are limited, but I agree with you. Give me a low center of gravity M wagon any day of the week over one of these things. Shame nobody digs them anymore.

Seems to me BMW are adopting what Jeremy Clarkson calls the "Porsche approach' to automotive design/styling.

All the best.
