Custom Frozen Paint Colours BMW Individual/Manufaktur
Does anyone know how much BMW Individual/Manufaktur custom paint costs in the uk? I am a bit unimpressed by the M Sport paint selection on the X5.

Hmmm this varies greatly and I've read about options on M3 would be about £3k after discounting.
An X5 though I think must cost a little more?

The problem is being able to order it. I enquired last month, and was tentatively told it was more than £3k.....BUT, there are very limited Individual colours available because of the limited Individual paint colour options at Spartanburg plant (not sure Frozen is available?) and getting a slot for Individual paint (even the 3 'catalogue' Individual colours) is not easy, and my dealer (a very big ///M and Alpina dealer) said it could be at least 6+ months wait if I wanted Individual.

Spartanburg cant paint fully custom colors as far as i know.
Usually only Munich or Dingolfing can do such jobs at huge costs. So believe you are limited to the 6 "Normal" colours or 4 "Individual" colours listed

They have once ordered a single 'colour chart' individual X5 in Ruby Black for a customer - but as I said, he said it took several months to even get a build slot for it because of the paint limitations at Spartanburg.

Still confused...
The UK website refers to bespoke colours...
https://www.bmw.co.uk/en_GB/topics/d...anufaktur.html but no one seems to know anything about Manufaktur at my dealership. I have been referred to Park Lane which is the only non franchised dealer in the UK so I will speak to them and let you know how I get on. The BMW online "Genius", a kind fellow named Yasser, did his best but wasn't able to help further than the above.... |

Yes this was confirmed - according to Park Lane bespoke paint colours are not available on the X range. Although they do offer a service to paint the car more or less any colour for me if I wanted, but £5-£10k range.
