Is there any way to close the hatch from inside?

Can the button be programmed, or the remote ?
My wife has an F15 M Sport and I always thought it was stupid that you had to get out of the truck to close the hatch.'
Now I have the F85 and it really bothers me. My previous shop truck was an Escalade and you just closed it with the button.
Also is there a way to turn off that awful beeping when you get close to something? I've gotten too close to the car in front of me, at a light, and it won't shut up.
I thought you could turn it off with the button on the console but it doesn't.

Yes you sure can. you will need a OBD2 connector and Bimmercode app. you download on your mobile phone very simple you code all kinds of things. for about $65.00

There are lots of videos on you tube to help you. really simple.

I have done to all my cars and customers since 2013.
It is the #1 request on what to code.

I have the cable I use to tune it with Bootmod3.
I just didn't see that opotion when I was looking on the internet.

You have the cable, all you need is E-Sys with Launcher Pro.

There's a switch at the top of the driver side arm rest that looks like a window switch. It allows you to open and close the hatch from the inside. It has a pic of the rear hatch on it.

As for the beeping... look right under the hazard switch. Pic of a car in it with a circle. Hit that to change preferences.

Shouldn't be any need to code.

I totally forgot about that.

Yes, you can close the hatch or trunk from inside the car by pulling up the button and holding it until it is fully closed.

But, With coding, it will be single press open and single press close.

I guess I could have resorted to reading the directions. I've tried pulling the button up but never realized you had to hold it up for it to operate.
It works in my 16 and my wifes 14 but we never knew it.
Kind of feel like a dumbass.

Pulling on the trunk close button also allows you to partially close as you wish, for example when carrying stuff protruding out the trunk. In such scenarios you don't want a single-press-close feature.
