Multichannel Audio Playback

Ordered my very first BMW last week, status change to in production on 11/22. Preparing to take full advantage of the iDrive.

I previously created a collection of songs in dts 5.1 (from movie dvds and Blurays) to be played in my home theater. Was wondering if these can by played by the car. I was planning of putting these tracks in .dts format on a usb drive, but read somewhere that the car will not play dts files from USB port. Not planning on downloading the songs to the car hard drive (each song is ~120MB, so the drive will get full). The less desirable option for me would be to convert them in FLAC, which I don't know how to do easily.

Hey, I don't know about .dts, but I believe the new NBT ( Next Big Thing ) fitted in your F15 is Flac capable.
