Lug Nuts
Yesterday I had new tires put on. Cleaning my wheels this am I noticed I have black plain looking lug nuts. Looks odd for some reason.
Are they correct or should they be sliver. I have the Msport Wheels. Thanks |

BMW for as long as I've had one always came with black lugs.
If you want silver lugs you can get them from ecstuning.com or if you really want something fancy go with Tikore Titanium lugs.

I actually prefer the black lugs over the chrome ones...but thats probably because I've nixed all the chrome on my F15 (except for the BMW roundels).

The interesting thing is, the manual said 101ft lb / 140nm, but if you try to convert 140nm to ft lb, it converts to 103ft lb

Ha, that's interesting, I did not do the conversion.
I guess around 100 is what I'll go for. Anyone own a decent torque wrench they can recommend ? Would something like this be sufficient ? http://www.amazon.com/Capri-Tools-31...=torque+wrench |
