X5 50i / N63TU Oil Capacity, 9.5 qt (9.0 L) or 10.0 qt (9.5 L)?

I have searched for the info, and have found different answers from different sources regarding the oil change capacity for the N63TU engine, as it specifically relates to the F15 X5 xDrive50i. I would guess that the same would be true for the F16 X6, but someone with an X6 would have to verify this.

I have seen multiple sources state that the oil change capacity for this particular application is 9.5 U.S. quarts (9.0 L); however, other sources state that the capacity is 10.0 U.S. quarts (9.5 L).

For example, the following two sources indicate that the oil capacity is 10.0 U.S. qt (9.5 L):

MattBianco's post regarding oil capacity for the 35i (http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...9&postcount=28) led me to searching that site for the 50i, and that site shows a capacity of 9.5 U.S. qt (9.0 L).

Further, searching Amsoil's site, it gets even weirder. Amsoil lists the 2014 50i as having a capacity of 9.5 U.S. qt (9.0 L), but lists the 2015 50i as having a capacity of 10.0 U.S. qt (10.0 L).
