Injector Cleaning vs. Replacing

Curious if anyone has gone the route of cleaning their injectors vs. outright replacement. I have a place local to me that can clean direct injectors and I have new teflon seals but are new decoupling rings required as well? I'm not getting any misfire codes but the cold start routine suggests to me that there is an injector issue or possible carbon build up issue. Loud pops from exhaust and fluctuating idle are the two main culprits. Appreciate any thoughts.

I have not, I've tried some of the other brand names. Have you experienced good things with the Liqui Moly?

Excited to see what people say. I've been debating sending mine off to get cleaned as well

Fuel Injector cleaner can only do so much. Having them professionally clean would be the right way to go, and the cheaper solution. As replacing them is rather expensive. I just replaced one myself and I've used Liqui Moly Fuel Injector Cleaner with every oil change. But despite that I still had a replace an injector. So, the choice is up to you.

Have it cleaned first! The flow test AFTER cleaning will tell you if they are within specs. If not, then you can just replace the injector(s) that is(are) not.

I've got the small teflon gaskets but I was wondering if the decoupling rings can be re-used or if they are strictly one-time use?

Just replace them for your peace of mind that the injectors are properly spaced and secured.
