Comfort Access Aerial / Antenna Locations

Looking for some help. Comfort Access on my 2017 X5 xdrive 35i hasnt worked since I purchased it second hand a few months back. I was recently able to check the ODB and saw the attached error referencing a disconnected passenger aerial. I was able to find a diagram online that I believe is correct as I was able to locate the two interior aerials in the rear cargo area. I cannot seem to find anything online to locate the other interior aerial or exterior aerial on the passenger side. Appreciate any info or insight to help locate these as I’m hoping this is a simple fix to my CA issues. Thanks

The exterior aerials on the driver & passenger side are in the lower exterior trim. It has to be removed to access those two aerials.

(E83 is the passenger side CA exterior aerial…E83*1B is the electrical connector…driver’s side aerial is in the mirror opposite location on other side of vehicle)





Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove trim panel for cover on side member

Disconnect plug connection (1).
Unlock and remove aerial for Comfort Access (2) from bracket (3).

Installation note:
Make sure interior aerial for Comfort Access (2) is seated correctly in holder (3)
