I installed Eibachs last weekend, not happy with the drop - doesn't look like it changed at all. Having to remove the front axle was a nightmare also.

While the end result won’t be a super aggressive drop, I would still give it some time. As I mention in my post, the drop was gradual over the course of time.

Surprised you didn’t notice, it’s not super aggressive but it’s a full inch drop in front and .6 in the rear, it was definitely noticeable to me. No real settling time either, I measured before & right after install.

I wonder if some x5's have more worn out springs than others, so sit lower? My 50i looks like it has a good stance on the stock springs but I do plan on getting the Eibach's because one of the rears is broken, and the Eibach from what I understand is the least aggressive?

I think the only springs that advertise less of a drop than Eibach is Dinan?

Right, but wasn't this because the Dinan springs were spec'd for the F85/86 which already has a little drop over even the M sport suspenion?

Yah, though many people like yourself have gone with Dinan on the F15/F16, even though it's not advertised for the non ///M. I will say your drop with Dinan looks identical to mine on Eibach (for reference for others, shimmy23 and I both have an F15 50i M Sport on OEM 469M/599M winter/summer setups).

The “European” version of the Eibach kit includes the rear springs. You will need a few other parts to install the rear springs.

I purchased the kit a few months ago to lower the front and have the rears on stand-by in case I had issues with the rear air springs and wanted to switch.

Has anyone removed/coded the chassis function restricted warning message?

I’ve wondered this too. I’m assuming my oem springs were still solid, because I did notice a drop on mine.
