2014 BMW X5 Sdrive Lowering Springs

I need help. Would like to lower my X5 Sdrive but can't seem to find the lowering springs for the Sdrive. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

sDrive only available in NA market.
While all of these spring and coilover companies are European or Asian where no sDrive available.
That's why they don't list it for sDrive application.

Fitment wise, trust me, they do fit.

Depending on how low do you want to go and whether you have self leveling or not.
Most likely not on the sDrive.

I run the Eibach on mine and they’re perfect. Looks like it should and rides like stock.

LocksmithNick. Are you indicating that you also have an sDrive and you use Eibach? I've call H&R and they tell me they don't offer for sDrive.

Thanks LocksmithNick. Which kit did you buy? And pictures? How’s the ride quality? I’m thinking about putting 22” on mine. Thoughts?

I bought the Eibach kit for F15 sDrive. I run 20’s. Looks great. Ride quality is same as stock.

Hi believe I do have self leveling. When I open the door I hear a hissing noise. I'd like to drop about 1-1.5".

Any updates on this? (now 4 years after thread started). I also have a 2014 X5 Sdrive and looking for lowering springs-finding that most aren't compatible (according to various website descriptions/fitments).

As far as I’m aware the springs/suspension aren’t different on the S Drive

Yes, I did. Better yet, did you read what I asked? for UPDATES since this is 4 years old. I'm interested in seeing what options may have come up since then, and perhaps confirmation on compatibility- thanks.

I also received this from H&R this morning "H&R does not, at this time, offer any lowering applications for the 2WD variant X5"

My understanding is that the X-drive's of course are heavier in front (transfer case, etc), where as 2WD doesn't have the same requirements for the weight.

Perhaps fitment and lowering are compatible, but I'd assume performance might be affected using 4WD springs... But that's just my guess.

Looking forward to hearing about people's experience w/ this- and preferably w/ H&R's

Yep, you’ll probably get a little less of a drop with whichever springs you go with than the xdrive model. Unless you go whole hog and get a height adjustable version like the KW V3 setup

the aftermarket suspension offerings for the F15 x5 were slim. 4 years out of production, no one is developing or releasing new suspensions. Your options are the same

H&R VTF or sport
Eibach springs
Dinan springs
ACS springs
KW coilovers
KW HAS

There's a couple less pursued companies like Vogtland that also offer a spring setup.
