Damn and I recently discovered my oil pan has been stripped too. Wonder if we should re tap it with the oem repair kit

I’m sure the parts department could tell you if they sell the kit. I just know dealers have this available to them so I’d assume consumers can pick it up somewhere.

Have a question on the Zeitronix unit. Where did you tap the CAN high and low wires into?

Thanks for the kind words!

We tapped CAN signal from the BDC in the passenger footwell and ran them over behind the dash to the box on the drivers side since we fed the ethanol sensor wiring and boost hoses on that side.

I’m so proud of this car. We raced, we drove over 20 hours round trip and not a complaint from it. All that preventative maintenance really does pay off.

Also, is it weird if I never take the MPact racing decal off? Lol.

BimmerHausPerformance intake being installed when my new Arcan floor jack gets here. Car is being dropped off Monday to enhance the front end a tad so excited about that.

He actually developed one for the F15 so I’m helping him do some testing and gather some data for the F15 specific one. It does sit behind the passenger side front grille.

Thermal management is key when turning up the power. Hood louvers installed.

Upgraded the PCV fitting and added an AN line to the catch can. Then drove it and took a photo

10/07/23

Today we get to check the box for 1 of the 2 performance goals I set for myself when we started planning the turbo upgrade.

We got to achieve a 3.7 second 0-60 out of an N55 X5. This was on an E60 blend with 3/4 tank and a spare, so once I burn some fuel and get it above E70 for full boost/load/timing targets, we should be able to hopefully do a bit better.

Incredibly happy with where we’ve come so far.
