where can I get power for phone mount?

Getting ready to install my Rennline phone charger in the wife’s X. I just installed one in my M2, but I had the hidden 12V under the dash and was able to route the wire hidden. Is there a spot behind the X5 – that I can get power and hide the cable?

There's always the lighter socket in the ashtray in front of the cup holder. Can probably tap off that if done corerctly.

Which phone charger did you buy from Rennline?

The magnetic charger. Really like the one in the other car. Simple and well done.

I used fuse box taps and ran power directly from the fuse box in the passenger footwell.

There is another thread that was a good source of info as far as the taps to buy and which fuse to use. I didn't take any pics.
