Angry my x5 rear air suspension keeps failing.

this is the 2nd time the rear air suspension on my 2014 bmw x5 with 120000 miles keeps failing. I took it to a man who works on european cars, espically bmws, and he changed both the air bags for 1000$. today while driving the car, the sound similar of a large vaccum was occuring in the front side of the car and i dont know what it might be. ive tried my best to attach a video of whats going on and you could hear (what i think the compressor) is doing. a large ticking/humming sound. (not the vaccum sound i was talking about). another thing is when i start the car after letting it sit from a previous drive, it starts to roughly idle going up and down BY ITSELF according the the gages. for example, itll drop under 1000 rpms then go back over to 2 and get itselfs a rev or too. dont know if this has to do with the engine or trans or suspension but i honestly need some knowledge of whats going on before i take it to the mechanic. please anything will help, thank you.

Airbags issues are very well known, just search the forum:

Usual suspects are airbags, corroded valve/ desiccant beads replacement , bad relay.
For the idle issues it would be beneficial to know which engine do you have in your X5.

Too many unknowns... you need to diagnose to corner down the issue

unfortunately, your description doesn't help much. its too vague.

are the bags filling?
do they lose air immediately or after a few hours?
is it one or two?
how did "the man" diagnose that faulty bags were the issue?

Can you share more details?

When did the air springs fail first? What mileage? Did you replace airsprngs with OEM or aftermarket units from Arnott (recommended)?

Was the compressor inspected at any point?

Your issue doesn't sound like air ride at all especially if your car is maintaining ride height. That is the tell-tale sign.

It sounds like your new issue is a vacuum leak. The engine isn't effected by the air ride.
