LF axle boot tore

Can I replace just the boot or should I do the axle?
It is not making any noise or anything just trying to stay ahead of things.

do you know if you caught it early? if so, on most cars it's easy enough to just repack the joint and replace the boot.

not sure what replacing looks like on an x5 tho. sorry

Wasnt making any noise - so seems to be caught early should have an update later today. Tks for the reply
