I am of the opinion the Wagner will not have the same fitment issues with the LIC that required the vanjen clamp.

Curious if there are any alternatives for VRSF and Wagner FMICs? Or are these two the only reliable?

I know of no other options than these two. I've seen cheap ebay models floating around on ebay, but I'd be suspect of fitment issues.

Intercoolers sold at AliExpress look nearly identical to VSRF. So to save a few bucks, I ordered one from AliExpress. Delivery took about 3 weeks. Quality seems good and there were no fitment issues. I'm happy with it.

I was thinking this was right around the price of the VRSF. Although, when I was interested in order the FMIC I couldn't get anyone from VRSF customer service to contact me back. I seriously emailed them 3-4 times and nothing. I'll give you a million dollars if you can find their landline #.

Same thing happened to me. I contacted Sam from EuroKlasse on FB and he answered my question same day. Also, gave me a better price than advertised on his site. FMIC was at my door within 3 days.

The VRSF FMIC uses the factory spring clips.

Rather than checking fitment and compatibility to our vehicle, I'd kindly suggest you call them up and see when they will have these available. I've placed my order last year in September, then month after month, the "back-order" status just keeps getting pushed. As of mid-January I cancelled my order and went with Wagner Tuning FMIC. Great build and quality, of course you'd be shelling more bucks for it, but at least it's available and great in fitment.

Not bagging VRSF, they are great, but when stuff is out of stock, I've been misled too many times on each of their updated availability dates, it's very discouraging because I couldn't plan around it at all. To be fair, I also purchased a catless DP at the same time I ordered their FMIC, and the DP came in quickly, great quality and build. I've put on some Cerakote inside and out to manage exhaust temperature. So that should fare very well on my build.

How'd you get VRSF on the phone?!?! I literally couldn't find a landline # for them. I emailed them several times and they were so vague in their responses and took at least a week for them to reply. I decided w/ that poor of customer service they wouldn't be getting any of my money.

I didn't get to call them. I've been able to only get their responses over the email; but each response takes several days. And as their continual delay ensues, it became unmanageable because my build will be done much sooner than their estimated in-stock date. So I gave up on them and went with Wagner. My opinion in gauging this company, I'd say their parts are of great quality, but their customer service is next to none.

My FMIC arrives tomorrow. Anyone have the part numbers for the o rings that connect both sides of the FMIC?? Wouldn't mind having on hand if I damage one.

What plastic needed to be trimmed? The support piece under the FIMC and radiator that comes out? I just wanna make before I execute it...
