Montreal Autoshow

Does anyone has any news from the Montreal autoshow which is starting today? On its web, it says that there is the Canadian Unveiling on the new M3. http://www.montrealautoshow.com/Main...=3&sp=3&id=577

As a Canadian, it sounds so excited to me since the story on the new M3 in Canada is much behind than the US. I hope that this show will announce the sales price and date for the Canadian market.

The show does not have any further information on the sales price and date. May be Feb in Toronto.

There were some older threads on Canadian delivery--sounds like some customer cars are already in transit: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=104900

Checked with the dealer this morning. My M3 shipped by rail out of Halifax Jan.14 and is due to arrive in Concord Jan.18 (yesterday). Should be able to get confirmation of its arrival in Concord when the system is updated Monday. Just a 45 minute transport ride from Concord to the dealer. If the car is not held in Concord it should arrive at the dealer this week. Still have to wait for Mar22.

My dealer was told that they might be able to deliver the cars right away as they where told this by the DSM.They are trying to get confirmation on this, but I do not think that this is accurate as they do not even have the pricing yetBut regardless of that I am not taking my car till the end of March.

BMW Canada had a white M3 last fall that was sent to South Carolina factory for select individuals to preview. No cameras were allowed when the car was in South Carolina. This was the car that had pictures taken of it prior to going to South Carolina. I hear the individual that took the pictures no longer works for BMW Canada.

How about the M-DCT? Since others said that the M-DCT would be available in the US in the March~May production coupe only, I was wondering if it will be also the case in Canada. If it is not, perhaps as a 09' model which starts in Setember?

I have provided a copy of US info on M-DCT to my dealer. Still no official word on M-DCT availability or pricing from BMW Canada to dealers.
