Excited About My First Mod :)

Probably not that big of a deal, but I'm excited. The car is currently on Eibach springs from the previous owner. I really don't like the way it sits, so I decided after a ton of research that the best option was KW H.A.S.

They're not going on until my wheels come in and the car comes out of storage...but, I figured I'd share!

Also, am I assuming correctly that the 1M shares the same suspension platform as the E92?

How much research did you do and what was the objective?
I also had a HAS set but decided after more research that I needed a better suspension setup so I'm going with a DA TCK CO system.

A) Wanted to close up the wheel gap.
B) Didn't want to lose EDC
C) Didn't want to spend $4k+ on a crazy coilover setup.

Read almost everything I could on people's reviews and didn't see any real negatives. I'm not planning on tracking the car, so I'm ok with this setup

I've heard horror stories about KW HAS coilovers and the bumpy ride and blown OE struts. If you're bound to get new struts in due time so why not get KW V3's from the very beginning?

I've got a long while until my struts wear out. Car currently has 9800 miles.

I'll worry about that bridge when my blown shocks drive over it

That's what i'm saying! Keep the Eibachs. The grass is not always greener on the other side, referring to KW HAS coilers.

I went with the same choice after about the same factors. You won't be disappointed. I've had the KWs for over 2 years now and they ride really good to me and everyone that's been in my car, even my wife thinks they're really comfortable. lol Love the brakes btw!
