Refurbished wheels

I'm looking to replace my current wheels and came across this website that sells BMW OEM refurbished wheels based in MN: http://www.hubcaphaven.com/c/700/bmw...eels_rims.html Of the refurb sites I've seen, this one definitely has an extensive list of choices.

Has anyone dealt with them? Are the prices too good to be true? I understand that refurbished are cheaper but then I wouldn't want to pay much less than OEM and have to deal with potential hassles later on.

Or, for those who've bought replica/refurbished wheels, could you recommend me a reputable vendor?

Thanks!

Although I've never heard of those guys, I've had experience with one of our local wheel refinishing companies here in Vancouver, Nu-Brite. They do excellent work and I'm always impressed with how they can bring a 'trashed' wheel back to as new condition. They also warranty their work. I've had a few sets of wheels re-finished by them (for various reasons) and haven't had a single issue, which is surprising since I am VERY picky when it comes to my vehicles. With that said, I can't comment on the vendor you're suggesting.

Mixed bag usually out of balance problems and possible not as safe. I've heard some stories that you get what you pay for.

another option is originalwheels.com. I was in the market for some 19 inch M sport wheels, and they have them, along with a ton of others. I gave them a call and they reassured me that they were "guaranteed" from a condition standpoint. Ultimately, I purchased the wheels I wanted from a BMW dealer in Florida via Ebay. They came out to be cheaper overall, as they had the tires and sensors, and center caps included. In the end I felt better getting them from a BMW dealer....they were take offs with less than 10 miles on them. They are still in transit so I haven't seen them in person but I am confident they will be good.

Oh they're local. Thanks for the link. I might give them a try but I try to find good deals from BMW dealers or reputable independent eBay sellers first. Refurbished would sort of be my last resort
