No beeping when unlocking/locking doors

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you had experienced this before. I did some initial research and some older models have had faulty hood sensors/switches. Quickly tried to locate the on in the F15 , but couldn't find it.

Was wondering if anyone could steer me in the right direction! Thanks.

Also - YES, the acoustic feedback is checked in the doors settings menu.

Same is happening with mine (2014). I asked the dealer to look into it after a false alarm went off, yet it was still silent, so it looked like hazards were on and nothing else. I specifically requested that they checked the motion sensor as someone on this thread pointed out it might be the cause.

They determined that it was an issue with an electronic component that controls alarm (and potentially something else) - it's on order now. Can't remember off the top of my head the name of it - once it's done I can let you know.

Had the same issue on my 2015.

Does the alarm go on when you press the panic button? Mine didn't and the issue was identified as a faulty horn. Was replaced under warranty within the same day.

Thanks,
Axel

As I have my acoustic set to off, perhaps I should take a look at this. My horn has been sounding kind of weird like it's missing the high note or something.

do you mean "chip-function"? If you lock/ unlock your car you hear a noise?

can be coded in HU_NBT - value "acoustical_lock_confirm"

Interesting insight guys... For some reason the beeping started to work again out of the blue after a week of it not working. I did not change anything or send it to the dealer yet.
