Removing the emblem on trunk
I ordered black carbon emblems and was trying to replace. I got the front hood one replaced easily but having a hard time getting the trunk one off. Is there aan easy way to remove it? Thanks

Hmm...not sure what you mean by ‘black carbon emblems’ or ‘not removing the whole roundel.’ However, if you are asking about replacing the round BMW trunk emblem, a little warm up with a heat gun or hairdryer before you pry, helps release the factory 2-sided tape.

The rear rounder is all one piece, you can’t remove just the center part. It’s a different part than the front hood roundel. It’s held on with double sided tape

Yea different for the rear. You could make a necklace out of the spare or better yet buy another bimmer to stick it on.

The rear was a bitch to take off...it's mainly because of the adhesive that's behind there. I used fishing line first to pry those off before using the trim removal tool to get it off! I did put blue tape around after using the fishing line.
