Major Fluids changing questions
Anyone who has done these fluid changes at home, is there any technicality doing them that we need to be aware of?
I know, brake and engine oil change should be nothing special. What about the Differential which my understanding is, 3 of them (front/rear and drive dynamic, correct?) Is drive dynamic and transfer case the same thing? How about the coolant? Just flush it? Transmission: I am thinking of just dropping the pan and changing the filter etc? Any word of caution/wisdom here as this is the most critical fluid change? Power steering: ? What fluids do you all recommend for this project? One shop I called, uses BG additive in all their fluid changes, OK? Thanks Last edited by quick; 02-26-2019 at 03:48 PM.. |
