Best All Season tires for 2016 X5

I have 19" wheels and have been doing the seasonal change-over thing for years. But, I would like to stick with one set year-round as my Michelin X-Ice are now worn out. I do go to the mountains regularly in the winter and understand I would be giving up black ice (and other challenging conditions) traction. But, curious to hear what others run in the winter.

Back when I used to live in Tahoe had 2 sets of tires, summer and winter. Safety first. Cost of winter set is always lower than cost of totaling your car and putting your health and life in risk. Ideally you can have second set of wheels so you don't have to pay to mount and balance twice a year. Use your 19 inch set for winter and get a nice set of 20 for summer. Problem solved.

And now all-season fanboys will come here and tell you that you are an idiot and X5 is not M3.

I know, right? I lived in Tahoe for 10 years, and drove over Donner summit in very harsh conditions, X5 is not M3 for sure but I welcome all of these people to come over to Tahoe in the middle of the snow storm when it dumps 90+ inches of snow in 6 days and show me how great these all-season tires work.
