Post Yellow engine light

I have yellow engine light showing only now and then, not always.
It seems to come up when the car has been running for some while (even though turned off in between).
I have used bimmerlink to read the codes

I was wondering if anybody can lead me to the issue?
It is a BMW x5 E40 F15 - USA

Most of these errors are not related to the check engine light, I would try to clear errors in all modules and drive around until it comes up next time so you can see more specific information.

Seems like the 12v battery is getting low. Just a hunch

Ditto above…the CEL comes on when there’s faults created by sensors that are connected to the vehicles emissions system. So this would mean sensors that are metering air, fuel, ignition.

You seem to have a lot of issues that are electronics based…and they are all over the place which usually relates to a low battery voltage situation. How old is your X5’s battery? Is the original battery which could be up to 7 years old?

You may have more than one issue…the CEL obviously…but you could also have some issues due to a battery starting to fail. For instance with your Central Gateway Module…KL 15 used to be ignition position 1 when a physical key was inserted into the ignition and turned to the first position. Not all electronics were activated…as when the key was turned to the 2nd position KL 30….or the start position KL 50. Today with the START button, KL 15 is still used but we no longer have the physical key….but still only certain electronics are operating at that point.

Thanks for these answers. I will start with checking the age of the 12V battery and change as soon as possible.

Recharge your 12v battery, delete all errors. Then drive for a while, recheck if any errors.
