Australian Official 1er Picture Thread (56K Beware)
Why not create one thread for all our lovely pictures!
Here is my first one, just mucking around a bit in Photoshop. The color is deliberately screwy, but I quite like it |

Wow! Kris your car looks awesome...
I started regretting not ordering the white (my runner up selection).... but then I saw Swift's LMB and that looks hot too. So I'm sure I'll manage |

zuzu, absolutely stunning. Where is that shot taken? The black soft top blends perfectly with the body colour... the alloys contrast really well with the colour and overall shape of the body too. Seeing your wheels is giving me 2nd thoughts as to wether or not I should in fact go the 18" 263's on my choice. My dealer tells me I have until 15 June to change my mind on wheel choice. Apparently the order has already been confirmed to the factory, but there is still a small window of opportunity to change the alloy wheel choice. The 263's look more sportier...kinda an M3 flavor if you like - like yours. Hmmmm, food for thought! |

When my 135i arrives, I was thinking of getting either the BMW performance wheels or after market wheels however, after seeing these photos the M style wheels look stunning. They're alot better looking than the US standard wheels. May not need to spend any money on wheels now.

Ahhhh! Rhodes...!!
The interior is superb. Gotta love that M logo on the wheel, looks brilliant. The fit & finish really is getting better & better. They really were class leading, but seem to imrove year on year. The finish & fitting in your 1 series looks like a great example - the plastics look perfectly finished, really well designed & totally suit the interior. Its something I think BMW have been able to do consistently, other manufacturers like Audi, VW, & even Mercedes havent offered the same sort of consistent quality I think, for so long. (I am BMW biased ) I just submitted a post that I was looking at to do with eyelids on the headlights. Id be pretty keen on these. Have a look here if you like... http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...639#post167639 They are on my trusty 3 series...I thought they looked good. But Im sure there are some variants coming onto the market now there are more & more 1 series owners popping out of the woodwork. |

I'm in love with your Le Mans Blue 135i!
Does your car have a black rooflining? My first bimmer was Avus Blue, which I absolutely loved and it attracted looks of admiring looks (even though is was just a 316i....). The Le Mans brings that feel back to me. SGM whilst looking good, it has actually become tired looking to my eyes on my 120i. I held onto my 316i for 7 yrs and never got bored with the colour and loved keeping looking immaculate. My SGM whilst looking great when given some TLC, it looks dirty too quickly. Since my car lives outside overnight and on the weekends, it gets dirty quickly too. So I think I'm sold on Le Mans, but unsure of interior colour. I'd like the idea of all black interior, but if the rooflining isn't black I might like a change (current 120i has black leather). |
