For its time, it was an impressive vehicle.

It’s still an impressive vehicle. It has something the new M5 does not have….a Soul.

That is awesome, but before my time.
I had the V10 E60 for my 'Ring laps first time there.

Loved driving the 92 Touring that I blasted around the Eifel in. It was noticeably faster than my E30 M-Tech 1 car was and that car has a slew of speed parts on it. Nothing beat the grunt of the S38.

I will say I ate through my fuel coupons fast driving it at speeds in the early 2000's. May a day I would have to buy fuel on the economy when I was in Frankfurt and had to commute back and forth to Bitburg.

I'm still shocked at how affordable the V10 cars are still. It's incredibly tempting.

Those wheels were always a favorite of mine... look so strong and evoke speed standing still

I just missed out on the V10. For me it was the E92 M3 in 2011 and in 2012 with the F10 M5.

Everybody wanted Sabine in the V10. Missed out on that. RIP Sabine.

no car has a soul. and when the new M5 gets old people will say it has a soul and the newest one doesnt. its so annoying when people say that about new cars simply because theyre new.

Same a bit as on the F10, you just press easy to know buttons to adjust things like PU throttle and suspension, not go into a screen first and nearly have an accident doing so.
