My "No screws" Jet Black front license plate pictures, BMW Pedals and Mini antenna!

Umm I like it :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:!

*please forgive Kat as she needs a bath!*

I used the GoMiniGo screwless license plate bracket and the Bimmian color matched Jet Black painted plate frame...

And the mini antenna...

Not bad. I will be ordering one as well. I'll try to get away without the front plate for a while until it arrives. And what do you mean a bath? She's stunning!

No ticket yet, but this is soooooo easy to put on and take off I decided to get it. It literally comes off in about 2 minutes and reinstalls in the same amount of time. The color matched Jet Black frame helps to minimize the plate and blend it into the bumper. It literally just screws into the tow hook opening. I have got to give those guys credit, this is one innovative way to be legal while not putting one hole in your bumper.

btw I love the pedals, they are very nice and the mini antenna suits the Vert better then the stock one.

Your antenna is on your back window. My back window is mostly in my trunk while my hair blows in the wind . 1 Verts have a hard antenna because of this. The stock one is about 1.5 feet high. It's huge. The mini is MUCH better looking.

I believe, that the euro plates that you get when you do ED are fixed to the car by 2-sided 3M adhesive tape.

So this begs the question:
Why can't we use that 2-sided tape to stick our front license plates on the bumper?
Is there any law in US prohibiting "sticking" the front plate to the bumper?

Don't have HD radio, but the standard FM is no different then before. The antenna is guaranteed to have no loss of signal. If it does you can send it back, but so far it works perfect.

AHHH got it! I don't know why I didn't think of that. lol I really like the vert but in a move to try to save some cash I opted for more technology related things then just having a vert.

VERY adjustable. It comes with brackets that attach to the toe hook screw in bolt that lets you adjust it way up or way down. I dropped mine down lower obviously to give it a lower profile.

You get it a GoMiniGo. Just get the one they have listed for the 135 under the BMW adapters. I actually measured mine like they suggested, but it was right on with their suggestion. Installing is as easy as popping off the toe hook cover, screwing in the main bolt and then putting the license plate frame on that...done. No holes I also need to give a thumbs up to Bimman's color matched license plates. They are dead on for my Jet Black paint. It really blends well. Not cheap, but worth it. Also fyi, I put two coats of Griots paint seal and two coats of Griots BOS wax on the JB license plates to seal them up before installation. ]

So many mods are a pain in the ass to install. The license plate mod is incredibly easy and it fit perfect. Big thumbs up. :w00t:

Looks good. But will the wind pressure make it hit the bumper? And scratch it up.

This is nice, I actually think it looks great. I don't think cops will sweat you as long as the plate is "visible"

I doubt it. I have about a 1/4 inch clearance, but just in case I used black plastic bolts to attach the top part of the frame that won't scratch the paint. After install I put a lot of pressure on the top of the plate and it wouldn't budge. The plate that it is attached to is very sturdy, so unless someone comes up and kicks it really hard it will never hit the bumper. But again, the plastic black bolts are there for that...just in case scenario.

I guess the other question is why? Basically I live in a community of about 75k people that is VERY small in geographic terms. There are cops everywhere. I just got tired of tensing up everytime I saw one. This way I have the choice to be legal or not without putting holes in the bumper.

ZuZu, great looking car
