a/c evaporator core
Hi, I need to change the evaporator on my 2014 x5. Here are the numbers I have and in yellow the type of configuration of my a/c. With the number 64119289068 and 64119386812 I can't find a replacement, only the original. Could someone tell me if despite having different numbers it would be the same evaporator? Here is the photo of the diagram where the one I need is in yellow and the numbers for which I can find a replacement are in red. Thanks everyone.

I looked at Rockauto and there are several with ----6555 and ----1416. I'm unsure why the catalog calls it a receiver dryer and an evaporator. The receiver dryer is integrated into the condenser

I’m guessing aftermarket companies are only making parts for sufficient volume options. As in, maybe there aren’t a ton of cars that have both the options OP has. Or perhaps the part they already made for the e70 works for some F15 cars but not all…but not worth it to develop capability to produce more unique part. I dunno. But…it IS available at the dealership for about $700
Would the cheaper aftermarket ones work? Maybe. But maybe not. Lol |

Behr/Mahle OE maker evaporator cores are available for the 64119281416 part number from FCP Euro and other suppliers. I will concede that BMW may require the ones delivered to them be biological growth retardant coated for foul odors and the ones from same manufacturer may not be coated (or they may be coated with the few cents worth of the chemical to avoid a sorting process). I'm unsure what sources the OP may have available. That part number is the supercession number for several other part nbrs used and that part nbr is used in some late E70 X5s.
