Car is Falling Apart!
geez,
I'm not sure what the problem is exactly, but my 135 is falling apart. The ipod doesn't work all of a sudden, nor the iphone. The lock in the door makes a shuttering sound when I try to open it, and the trunk doesn't close! the latch won't work. Ugh. Not a happy camper right now. *UPDATE* Software update fixed Apple product connectivity... door sound was me holding down lock/unlock sensors at same time, trunk latch was also a software issue. Interesting. Last edited by woodman650; 04-19-2010 at 10:16 AM.. |

Sorry to hear. I have had a few issues like this...
Advice...seriously... Sleep on it.. don't freak out. The car for a few days complained the key FOB was not there, the door went nuts click click click x 100, trunk would not open, and phone was bad... But some how it fixed itself. I think the scary part for me now is what happens when warranty is over? It's as if the car is playing with our heads!! So just saying, don't jump in the car and fly over to the dealership, because by the time you show them, it's not doing it anymore. They can't fix something they can't see working wrong... and then they just look at us like we are "customers" EspressoBoy PS I am trying to to be too silly now... |

The shuttering sound from the door locks happens when you press the "lock" area at the same time you're opening the door. Grab the handle from the inside and it won't happen anymore. It's wierd glitch, but it's not hard to live with once you know what it is.
As for the rest of the key related problems, try putting the key in the dash for your next couple of trips, and then try using it normally again. It might just need to reset itself. |

jeremyc74,
FYI, when it happened to me, my hand was not on that area. It only did it 1 time for about 10 seconds. I know when washing the car, don't have the FOB around, even the water can activate it. But thanks for the info. *smile* I also put the FOB in the slot, and it did eventually reset. I think it "lost itself" 2 times so far. EspressoBoy |

Yep. I had the same experience. Now when I wash it I put the key in the dash.

Have CA; the turn-signals flash whenever high-pressure H2O assaults the door handles, ignore it, continue the task, wash the hot rod. This is not an actual problem, it is part of the high-tech experience, all is well...
