At what mileage did you change brake rotors/pads?

Now that the cars are getting a little older, I was wondering if we could put together a bit of data about brake longevity.

For those who have had their brakes changed at the dealer through prepaid maintenance, how many miles did you change out the stock rotors/pads? What is your use case (i.e. one track day a month and spirited canyon driving, vs. all highway, vs. 50% highway and 50% city normal driving, etc.). Also, could you please break it down by front/rear pads/rotors if applicable? Thanks.

It looks like the 335i guys are changing them anywhere from 13-60k, so it could be extremely variable...

If I have to change mine while I'm still here I'm upgrading the calipers. These feel a little squishy to me. Best brake feel I ever has was in my Passat wagon with Boxster calipers, and larger rotors with new lines and fluid. I want these brakes to feel like that.

how often does BMW maintenance allows us to change brakes?
if they only allow 1 or 2 in 50k miles, Im going for Brembos

I think pads are as needed or according the schedule in the car. I'd have to look in my iDrive to see what it says to say for sure.

I am at 20K and still on the original pads and rotors, I have no idea how much is left on them though, which I like because that translates into less money after the warranty period. Whatever the mileage they get, I guarantee one thing when my car hits 54,500, the pads and rotors are going to get VERY used so they are replaced before the free maintenance is up.

In my previous 335i, the pads were done at 12K, not sure why the huge difference, I drive the same in each cars.
