New HPFP 13517594943 starting to show early signs of failing

Factory fitted HPFP replaced a month ago with the new "943" pump. Engine is absolutely un-molested, yet was cold and warm idling more roughly post new pump than pre new pump.

Over the last few days, idling becoming rougher, then this morning looooong crank. Symptoms thus far are identical to first pump failure, although no engine light yet.

This car has been driven carefully and not red-lined.

Joy!

Sorry to hear you are getting problems again. You seems to have more trouble with HPFP than anyone else? I wonder if under certain conditions that the HPFP tends to fail. I think you are the only one we heard of who are having multiple failures.

Where about in Aust are you at? What sort of fuel do you use?

The other thing is may be the HPFP is the symptom of another problematic component?

A search here on "HPFP" shows a lot of ppl in Oz and US on pump 3, 4 and even 5!

Where about in Aust are you at? NSW What sort of fuel do you use? Shell or BP 98 exclusively, always from high volume sites

The other thing is may be the HPFP is the symptom of another problematic component? Again, search here suggests not.
