I went to primary school 1972 to 1978 and high school 1979 to 1984. I think it's fair to say you will always love the popular music of the time you are at highschool whether you want to or not, more so as the years go by.

Gap toothed Kit Hain needed love back in 1978 when this toon spent 18 weeks in the Top 40 from August to December 1978, eventually reaching number one.

Supernaut formed in 1974 and had a number one hit in July 1976 with "Both Ways" produced by Molly Meldrum (before he fell off his house). The 'Nauts are channeling The Spiders From Mars here but Gary Twinn seems to be getting his Robert Plant on.


The lead singer is Gary Twinn who has explained in interviews over the years that the inspiration for the song was a bass player who was once in the band.

Pearl Jam's Ten came out when I was 13 and shaped my interest in music in a big way for the next few years.
