I Miss My M3 :(

So I traded my E92 M3 back in January for an X6M and absolutely love the big beast! It blows the doors off of the M3 but there's something about driving the M3 and now I have remorse. Thankfully another member of our club purchased my M3 so I get to see her occasionaly but when I do, I feel like a dirty whore.

I think it would be best if I sell my X6M and buy an M4 or a 12/13' E92 M3, what says you?

I says unless you have a need for a big 4x4 that can't go off-road at all, sell that junk and get an M4 when it comes out.

Wait for the M4. V8 in the current M3 is awesome but I think the new M4 will best it in every category except maybe the sound. If I don't buy a Porsche 911 within a year then I am definitely buying an M4.

wait for the new m3/4 and the c63 from merc

then you can decide whether you prefer the new gen of cars, or would like to buy a lightly used e9x m3.

more choices are better

Get another e92. Nothing beats the rumble of a V8.

What do you miss about the M3 now that you have a 991S? I know a lot of people that moved away from their e9x M3 and regret it for one reason or another.

Also interested.

Love hearing this from someone who's moved on to a "better" car.

Just makes me feel better about (hopefully) keeping mine for a long time...

I'd get a low mileage 2011.75 -2013 (the cars are identical) low mileage carbon roofed E92 M3 DCT ZCP. The high-revving S65 is a unique motor made specifically for the M3; it's my favorite feature on the car.

The best thing about the new M4 will be the availability of ceramic brakes. It's interesting to note that the new M3 sedan has better baseline aerodynamics than the M4. After the inline 6 turbo-motor on the M4, the worst new change is its electric steering. I just can't make myself want an M4.

I'm confused. The X6M blows away the M3? Are we racing up dirt or muddy mountain?
