Front Pad Wear Sensors Swap

Hi all. Just had a set of track pads installed over the weekend. My front pads were getting low and starting to grind down one of the wear sensors. They were tied back after the install but the sensor light went off so assume they now need to be replaced. Question is, can the front sensors be swapped without removing the wheels if they are tied off or just easier to pull the wheels for access?

Thanks

Seeing how they're clipped in is inside the fenderwell I don't see how you could get to them without removing the wheel.

Going to be a real PITA if you don't take off the wheel. Turns a 5 minute job into probably a 30 minute job, if you can even twist your arms around enough to do it.
